About Me

"There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.” – John Green.

As a compassionate and board-certified PMHNP, I draw upon my own life experiences to guide my practice. Witnessing the impact of mental health challenges during my career in emergency medicine, I’ve developed a profound understanding and respect of the human psyche. My commitment extends beyond clinical expertise; it’s deeply rooted in empathy and resilience. I approach mental health care holistically delving into biopsychosocial factors, recognizing that mental health is influenced by genetics, environment, and personal history. My assessments go beyond symptoms, considering the whole person. I help my clients explore their past experiences, validating their emotions and fostering healing. Coping mechanisms are essential. I collaborate with individuals to develop personalized strategies – whether through mindfulness practices, creative outlets, or lifestyle adjustments. My toolbox includes evidence-based approaches. I blend medication management, complementary medicine, psychotherapy, and lifestyle modifications to create comprehensive treatment plans. Mental health isn’t just about diagnoses; it’s about resilience, hope, and growth.

I specialize in supporting individuals who find themselves standing at a crossroads—those who seek transformation but struggle with uncertainty. Whether you’re an adolescent navigating identity, a young adult shaping your path, or someone exploring life’s complexities while trying to make sense of your past, I excel at helping you unravel the layers of who you are. Life rarely offers clear-cut answers. Maybe you don’t have a detailed map for your journey, and that’s perfectly fine. Together, we’ll set meaningful goals—even if they evolve along the way. No two individuals are alike, including those with the same diagnosis. You are more than your symptoms. I am passionate about working with people who need to find what they want out of life.
